I can't believe this is closing down along with the building. Amazing service and amazing food. Thank you tea terrace for making our experience amazing. There were 4 of us and we had a lot to eat. Yummy. X

We enjoyed the food, place, view, and the staff as well as they are very helpful.
You can enjoy tea here in this lovely place overlooking Guildford.
But sad to see this place go as they're closing the building down :(

To be honest, this was my first visit to the restaurant in many years. This used to a weekly occurrence, when I came with my parents in the 1960's. My visit coincided with the sad demise of the store, as it is now closing down.
The staff were delightful, treating me with great respect. It was relatively busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Most of all I loved the ambiance created by the decor; and the thrones positioned at the entrance where guests could take photos of their family members and friends.
I shall return soon.

Decent food, but great service, and attention to detail, we received 2 forks even though we ordered only one portion of an excellent Carrot Cake. The only downsize would be young and inexperienced staff, but like I said, we were lucky being served by their most experienced staff member. I'm sorry for their 3.9 stars, but from me, it is a clear 5-star review.

Very quiet for lunch. Customer were almost non existent. Very pricey for lunch. But customers service were good. Very clean Outside and inside seating available. My tuna sandwich was waaaay to much on the bread. It did put me off. 😟

We absolutely loved our time at The tea terrace today. The staff were outstanding. Friendly, helpful and really put an extra pleasing spin on our visit. The shared afternoon tea was fun, gorgeous selection of teas and adored the fun Royal chairs!

This hidden gem in Surrey was such a lovely surprise, with a view of the Surrey hills, it was the perfect venue for my granddaughter to play out her 3rd birthday as a princess. The prices are reasonable with generous portions of food and china tea pots and cups to add that special touch. Staff were attentive without being overbearing and I would definitely go back and recommend this place. The only thing missing for me, was Teresa the robot.

Excellent ambience, lovely service, wonderful sandwiches. With the Traditional Afternoon Tea, you get a refill. You can refill with other flavours if you like and get to taste other teas. They have 17 tea flavours.

Do you want to feel yourself as a princess from fairy tale? Visit this place!!! Beautiful decor! Very friendly staff!! Good menu, vegan and gluten free options. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or just coffee/tea and cake (what my friend and me had today). Definitely will be back 😁

BEST SCONE IN TOWN!!
I tried a gluten-free scone with hot chocolate, to be honest, these are the most delicious scone I have ever eaten so far. 😭❤️ The texture is a bit crispy on the outside, super soft and bouncy on the inside. The cream smells so good, combined perfectly with strawberry jam. I can’t get enough of it. 😍 The waitresses are helpful and so friendly, even tho they are busy all the time because there are loads of customers lol. Overall, I highly recommend it!!
