Came for a meal and a catch up with my best friend. We were shown to our table straight away and food arrived quickly. We shared a pizza and some side dishes, but the servings were so big, we didn't even finish them! So much choice on the menu, I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, a great night :)
The service was very good and the food was amazing. The Fillet steak is recommended as is the Sea Bass, to be honest I haven't tasted a fillet steak as good since Ziggys of Bingley in the 80's. Not sure how we missed this place before now. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is relaxing and we didn't feel rushed. All in all a fabulous restaurant which we will be visiting again...and again.
I booked for my partners 70th a table of 12 and can I just say Bill and Dave were amazing such patience with me as I kept changing my mind about things 😂..the evening was fantastic our guests commented on the food which is always good to hear..no rush for us to leave I definitely recommend and unfortunately Bill we will definitely be back 😂...why could we not your hospitality was top notch ...a massive thank you for making our evening extra special x
I went as part of a large celebration party. Food was pre-ordered. We had 3 courses. Each course was served promptly and was nicely presented and was delicious. Staff were friendly and a good atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.
Amazing food, sounds cliché, but honestly the best fillet steak I've ever had. So perfect even my fussy girlfriend loved it. Service was impeccable bill and dave were fantastic. Best restaurant in halifax.
Had a really nice lunch here, all four of us enjoyed our choices. Peach Melba was excellent. Friendly service. We will be back.
First visit and it was an overall lovely experience.
Table of 16 people booked for a 30th birthday. We sent a preorder. The menu online is not reflective of their current menu, so I suggest to ring them. Generous portion of food (thank you to the chefs for the lovely meals) and everyone there were attentive - Niamh, Dave, Bill, Georgia, Khalid. Only had one photo of the food and it's the tiramisu. I'd recommend the garlic bread, seabass or pizza Nduja, and also the sticky toffee pudding.
First time here, really nice atmosphere, food was nice too. Staff were great, they even brought over a homemade spicy sauce for us to share. We shared a starter, had a main each and then shared the tiramisu, which tasted fresh, cool and not too strong. After our meal, they let us sit on the leather sofas where we had drinks. All in all, a really nice night out, will definitely come back again 👌
I am not vegan, but my husband is a no oil vegan which pretty much narrows our options down to zero going out together in most vegan places in Halifax. However, after speaking to Anthony and Dave, we were assured that this wasn't at all an issue as they were more than willing to accomodate him. That is what we call a proper chef! My husband's pasta was very tasty and my meal was amazing. Thank you so very much! We will definitely come back.
First time there for my birthday and I wasn't disappointed, food great and the staff were very friendly and helpful, will definitely call again.
Very good pizza and a fine espresso. Atmosphere a bit cool but it was a Thursday lunchtime in February.

Came here with a group for a friend's baby shower and had a sit down meal.
Food was lovely with generous portions, staff very friendly and welcoming.
Drinks a bit pricy however.
All in all would recommend 👌
