Great atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely food. Our only quibble was the fact that the steak night was listed as costing £45 for 2 steaks and a bottle of wine. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the wine was really good but when we got the bill it was £53. When we queried the £8 they said it was the mushroom sauce we had. The different sauces were offered when we ordered the steaks so we felt it was a bit sneaky to arbitrarily add the cost on without mentioning the fact that we were going to be charged extra.

Loved the visit. Back/beer garden is quirky but really cosy. The staff is very attentive. Good quality food despite ordering Sunday roast, that I'm not the biggest fan of.
I will visit again if in the area.
Birthday meal from my daughter and her husband. Fantastic choice for it. Comfortable place, food really good. Service for drinks also good. Will recommend to all. Can't wait to go again.

Excellent steak meal on Saturday. My mum and dad enjoyed it, for his birthday. Service was excellent aswell. Keep up the good work, will definitely be coming again.
