Completely agree with the consensus, this cosy country pub is a little gem. A few classic ales and a simple but nice menu. Playground out back in the fields. Really lovely setting.

A perfect English countryside pub with a comfortable atmosphere (dog and child friendly). Good food, service and sizable portions. You can't go wrong here
Took my 89yr old dad here today, a true local pub, well stocked well easy going locals, and dishing up steak and ale pies with plenty of wholesome veg. Great service.
Since lockdown it's almost impossible to find an authentic, traditional counrty pub.
