Found this place after a drive in the country and been back again since, service is very good, I would advise to book as it does get busy, the toastie was cooked perfectly, and the cakes, wow, what a selection and taste amazing. The location is really nice, the actual tea room is loaded with natural beams and has a lovely feel to it, pricing is the high end of average but worth every penny, there is also a little shop next door which is worth a visit. Parking is not bad at all, we've manage a space every time.

Came with a couple of girlfriends for a late lunch. Soup and toasted sandwiches, soup was delicious leek and potato, my favourite, it was thick, hot and very tasty. Would have liked a bigger bowl but was plenty with the sandwich. Would reccomend the milkshakes, proper treat. We enjoyed our lunch very much in fact we have booked to come back for afternoon tea.

I visited The Hyacinth Tearoom today, with a friend, for lunch. The tearoom is so welcoming. We were greeted by friendly staff who were very attentive. We ordered toasted sandwiches which were delicious. The food was piping hot and we were served quickly. There is an amazing selection of home made cakes, all of which look fab. I had to take a slice home to try - it would have been rude not to 😉 I would highly recommend this lovely little tea room - a real asset to the area.

Loved it! Such a cute space and a real village feel to it. Inside was so beautiful with a great selection of cakes 🍰. I took the Millionaires Cake slice home to enjoy as I was full. A lovely little post office next door too. Will be back!

We visited after some painting with the kids and friends at the Essex Pottery Studio. We saw the Cafe / Tea room signs and to be honest wasn't expecting much... but it was actually very good. On arrival we was shown to some seats, ordered food and got drinks etc. Plenty of options for food and drink with some specials available too. There are kids options but a little more limited than the main menu, also whilst my daughter likes baked beans she had rather a lot of them on her plate when it came out. My lunch / dinner was great - a roast dinner Yorkshire wrap. Really nice taste, and the only improvement I would have suggested would have been the gravy. We don't tend to have desert, especially when eating out at lunch - but the temptation was too much and we when halves with the kids. Cake was very nice (and I'm more of a cheese and biscuit desert type of person!) Plenty of parking outside and would recommend this place - to the point of wondering if we should pop in again once the decorations have been finished at the pottery studio and we pop down to pick them up...!

I have eaten there several times and also the little one that was open Halstead, and I cannot fault it. The staff are lovely, the manager is friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. The food is always fresh and lovely. The prices are in keeping of any establishment like that. I think some people need to go to a corner cafe where everything is just reheated and no real cooking involved, if they want cheaper prices.

Great food, freshly made. Cakes are delicious, plenty to choose from. Good value for money. We've been lucky to get a table each time we visit. But maybe best to book in advance as it seems to be getting very busy. New owners are doing a fantastic job. Lovely polite staff.

Nice atmosphere in aged barn . Option to sit outside with your canine friends. Varied food options at fair prices. Their cakes are something special!

Popped in for Breakfast on Saturday. Lovely food and a really nice atmosphere. Wife had the veggie breakfast which I was actually quite jealous of 🤣. My full English breakfast was perfect 👍
