Such a lovely place to sit and have a brew, Kevin and the staff are friendly and always helpful. The kavern is faultless!! Good food, good coffee, an a corka of a frappe!! I highly recommend this gem in Halstead.

Beautiful peri peri chicken wrap! Been many times before and will continue to do so!!!! I recommend their breakfasts too! We had a few breakfasts delivered and it was quick and delicious!!! ❤️❤️❤️

If you cannot cope doing both close and just do online this way you don’t annoy customers

The coffee here is undeniably the best in Halstead, always made to your specific requirements. The poached eggs are always spot on and they do the best sausage and bacon sarnie ever!! Staff are always friendly and helpful and there's a great atmosphere when you sit in.

Cosy little cafe with good covid safety practices in place. Had breakfast here bacon sandwich for myself, alot of bacon for the price and the girlfriend had the French toast and she was definitely very happy. Coffee also very good.

Independant cafe, with a very good coffee and extremely nice food. Service is also very good. Not somewhere for 'comfort' (i.e. no couches / slumber chairs), so more for breakfast or lunch. Fruit infused water freely available - always welcome, and food is not fatty - everything tastes 'healthy'. Small outside area, which is also good to see.

The Coffee Kavern is one of my favourite places to go whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or just for a coffee and some cake. Consistently good food and service with the most warm and welcoming atmosphere (not to mention delicious cake!). I look forward to popping in again soon!
