Probably the best Fish & Chip shop in Harpenden ! Staff always very friendly and albeit I normally order Haddock ( and have to wait for it to be cooked fresh) I must say it is always A1 . Last week ordered a delivery of fish & chips , when it arrived was piping hot , batter was lovely and crisp chips excellent. Keep up the good work .

I really really think this place is Underrated. Great big bits of cod and they have no trouble doing it skinless for me. Portion of Chips are huge. After prices go up I just get a small cod, I never eat it all anyway. And as a small business owner, I can’t imagine how difficult it is to run a place like this. They have little tables outside now. Staff turn over is quite big, but everyone are always nice and not like Godfreys where the manger literally treat his staff like dirt in front of everyone . I prefer it anyway over the pretentious overpriced Godfreys in town. Where I had a few really bad meals lately. This is my local. Keep up the good work

Superb chippy! The food is lovely, the premises are spotlessly clean and the staff are really nice. Menu is extensive, portions are decent and the prices are very reasonable. Ordered by the app and our food was ready to collect on time. Covid compliant - masks all round and a hand sanitiser station in the shop. Great to have this place in Harpenden. Many thanks chaps!

Absolutely delicious fish and chips! Just finished our meal and not a scrap left over. Crispy batter and tasty chips, flavourful cod and perfect portion sizes (three small cod and one medium chips between a teenager and two adults) - just what we needed after a busy day. Delivered to the door, the wait time was accurate and service with a smile! We'll definitely be back for more!

Just went and bought some dinner from this place. When we first moved here a year ago, we tried this place and was very disappointed. Instead we went to town (we live 5min from this place) to buy our fish and chip. A few weeks ago, to lazy to head up to town we went back not expecting much. All I can say is that the visit made us decide to only go to this place as they have the best fish and chips and battered sausage in harpenden. I don't know what changes they have done but definitely a place worth visiting again and again. Thank you from a happy customer.
