We have eaten here on a few occasions for Sunday lunch. On arrival we have been greeted and taken to an already prepared table. The drinks order is served rapidly and the food follows in short delay.The food is copious, prepared with quality ingredients and served hot. The atmosphere is agreeable and the decoration and seating arrangements have been well thought out. The staff are attentive and friendly, what more can you ask.
Had our silver wedding meal here, the meal was gorgeous, above all our expectations. The service, particularly from Amber, was excellent, a polite and lovely young lady. Hope to visit again soon!
Visited in the evening for dinner and sat in the bar area. Great friendly service, the menu had the usual pub dishes. Would recommend.
Second visit, we sat in the garden room. Consistently good and friendly service. The starters seemed a little more interesting than the last time I visited but feel there could be more variety with the main courses.
Excellent curtious staff and great service. Food was very good and piping hot. Restaurant was quite dark and makes it difficult to read the menus, people were passing a phone light about to read them.
Fabulous! Wonderful, friendly staff. Efficient service. Delicious food! I can recommend the burger and the white chocolate pannacotta! Fantastic range of cocktails (the pink glamour is delicious!). We didn't book and got a table straight away. Throughly recommend eating and drinking here for an all round fabulous experience!
I have been with my business team and I can say that we have been looked after properly. I can’t thank enough to the entire team and the owner. It has been a wonderful experience and we will definitely come again to the Beer Club. Amazing food and amazing atmosphere. Thank you very much indeed.
3 of us ordered The Club Sandwich amazing value and very filling. Kept us all quiet for half an hour! Thoroughly recommend it. Will be back at the end of the month.
Great food and atmosphere, the menu is fantastic too- a mix of classics and some more adventurous dishes. Just avoid the hotel.
I stopped here for lunch today. I wanted to sample a real English dish for a change. First thing that I spotted on the menu was chicken Kiev. So we both ordered that.
Probably the best children Kiev that I have ever eaten in my 60+ years. It was laying on a bed of very fresh squeaky beans and chipped potato squares. It had pea shoot garnish on the top and even had a little pot of extra garlic butter with it. It was delightful.
A glass of decent quality red wine washed it dow and it came to less than £25 a head.
The atmosphere on the rear balcony overlooking the park was divine. The staff were kind and friendly without being intrusive.
Should I come back to the area again next year I will revisit.
