Aroma Harrogate

Stayed here for 5 days. Found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. Our room was super clean, bins and towels checked and replaced regularly and we really appreciated the Harrogate water supplied daily...and the Kit Kat. The choice of food was great, especially for breakfast. They did seem slightly short staffed a few times but all staff were working very hard to give good service. One evening the barman even offered to make me a hot lemon and honey as I had a bad cough and cold. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff at the hotel were all very kind and helpful but the service in the bar was slow, possibly because they were new and had received insufficient training or because there were too few kitchen staff to deal with the bar food orders in a timely manner. The food was good when it arrived. The rooms were warm and spacious and from my room on the 11th floor there was a great view of the surrounding countryside. The hotel is in a quiet part of the town so noise at night was negligible.

Spent one night here, bedroom was a generous size, and the bed a super size ( we were on the 6th floor) room was spotlessly clean. All is fine except the breakfast ( hence, 4star for service as no other option to rate a 4) we arrived for breakfast at 8.45 and there was no bacon, one fried egg and the black pudding was dry .... but the sausages ( 2 types) were plentiful along with other breakfast components. As breakfast is an additional charge within your booking, it should all be available during service . Parking is around the back below the hotel and there is an additional charge for this. Apart from that all ok
