We stayed there as part of work and we couldn't complain to he honest The food at the evening was very nice. The beer is a bit pricey, but it is a hotel, so you'd expect that. I had to swap a room as it was very dated and very confined. but all in all it's an old building so its must be hard to upkeep and it's very nice and welcoming and the food is good.

Lovely local pub. We had a great couple of hours here watching the match. Locals very friendly and chatty. Hopefully we visit Harrogate again and we will definitely return to this pub. Great prices , great service couldn’t ask for anything more.

Good atmosphere and decent priced beer, unfortunately kitchen was closed due to a fire… the outside tv needs attention to fight the glare of the sun during early evening games

Standard pub, food is wetherspoons quality so standard for a pub. Has a decent amount of pool tables. Decent size beer garden.

Pub usually has at least a few locals in and gets a mix of ages - never visited when there has been an unpleasant atmosphere, but locals sometimes block access to bar. Bar staff are usually friendly.
Food served - had once, about 18 months ago and it was very good. Decent prices.
Visited Tuesday 13 August and Leeds were on the tv - there was a little crowd (about 15) of Leeds fans making noise. Nothing over the top.
Paid £2.60 for a pint of Carlsberg, £2.85 for a John Smiths. They usually have cask on too.
There's plenty of parking and a decent sized beer garden to the front.

Ok place to watch sports as there are plenty of screens. Bar service quick. Contactless payments accepted. Not great choice of beers when i went, average price. We had burgers which were not very nice. More of a 'local' than somewhere you would check out.
