Never in my life have I had a burger at a restaurant as flavoursome as the one I had the other day (and I have eaten a lot of burgers, as a fussy eater). So juicy, so boujie, fanciest burger and dessert I've ever eaten.
I'd never been to The Knox before, but I know people who go there often, and I can see why. Good choice of drinks, AMAZING food, nice staff, lovely decor (big fan of the cow print booths), decent prices, and an overall great experience.
Can't wait to visit in the summer!!
Really friendly staff, good music and a great selection of drinks. We didn't eat so can't comment on food.
Lovely surroundings, the place was done out lovely with clean toilets.
We aren't local to the area, but popped in on the way home from our holiday. Really lovely bar and restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area. The gent that served us couldn't have been more welcoming and the food was delicious. Very dog friendly. Would recommend to anybody!
We had a wonderful evening, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful and the food is fab - great choice for vegetarian and vegans too and dog friendly .. they even put the rugby on for us.
Went to the knox for my birthday meal and it was fantastic. We were a large group of 20. Kids and adults. From the correspondence for booking to the food everything was top notch. Every meal was lovely. We even had someone arrive later and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks very much team you out did yourselves. Especially Millie. Also thank you Katie for making the booking process so easy. We will come again.
I’ve had such a wonderful afternoon with my husband. The staff are brilliant and the landlord (I think it’s Simon) is a really lovely guy.
We had a lovely lunch, the food is excellent value for money and there’s a great selection of drinks.
Highly recommend a visit as they have a great outdoor area and inside is equally nice.
Can not fault this lovely, friendly establishment. We were welcomed from walking in the door (especially as none locals). Our 6yr old loves pizza and his review was "absolutely lush, the best pizza I've had". I echo his sentiments for the mexican chicken nachos, it's been a long time since having nachos this good! Hubby had cheese and bacon burger and again it couldn't be faulted. The pub it's self is nipping clean. The bonus for us is, it's very dog friendly, our furbaby was allowed in the bar, there is water to fill an individual bowl for him and dog biscuits as a treat. Staff were polite friendly and spent time having a chat with us and making a fuss of the dog. If back in the area, will definitely be paying another visit.
Staying in Harrogate for weekend and Googled for pubs close by our accomodation and the Knox came up. We had “Small” Sunday roast (Ham/potatoes/ chips/ York pudding / stuffing / chips / gravy, with side dish of green beans/ carrots / cauliflower cheese )+ Fish and chips + Burger, Chips and side of Mac & Cheese - all were tasty with quick polite service - Fish and chips was Huge !!! Granddaughter had to get a takeaway box for her burger / Mac & cheese and chips
Good food, good atmosphere , good service , good value - would recommend
Best pub in Yorkshire. Has something for everyone. The food is superb at reasonable prices. The pipes are clean so the beer is great. A proper community pub that welcomes strangers. Also has live music of a very high quality. It is also dog friendly. The Sunday carvery is fabulous. They also have happy hours.
Have been many times, although here for a funeral today. Food is generally excellent. The spread put out for the buffet was delicious, including goats cheese and walnut tartlets, marinated mozzarella cubes and a tasty selection of sandwiches.
On a normal visit, the food, service and decor are extremely good and I would heartily recommend
