Second time coming here and every time the food has been excellent. First time had the fixed price menu - fantastic deal. Succulent lobster and prawn cocktail and 2 drinks.
Also had the Sunday roast beef and it was just delicious, and again really good value.
The staff couldn’t be more friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely be back with the dog for a garden lunch in the sunshine.
Went out for my birthday dinner last night, there was 8 of us and honestly couldn't be happier with the food or service! Food came out in good time and tasted incredible! The staff were amazing, nothing was too much for them. Fantastic pub, highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal with the family the food atmosphere and the service was all to a good standard. You are made to feel welcome and the server Kris was, pleasant and friendly throughout.
Lovely pub just opposite Hartwell House. Homely food (that's tasty, hearty and designed to stuff you with plenty of delightful treats). The beer flows well (London Pride among them) and the atmosphere is welcoming. Staff are polite and helpful. Lovely pub to visit. I like the set up of the separate rooms.
Came for an impromptu Thursday afternoon lunch and the food was delish! I had the sticky duck pizza which was lovely. The kids meals lasagne/sausages was a good portion for the children and the cod loin went down very well. Reasonable pricing (not cheap), the ambience is lovely and the service was polite and helpful.

Great food, this is the third time I’ve eaten here and the food has been great. Kris was so accommodating and make sure we were ok, he was so helpful.
We had a wonderful family meal last Sunday, the sirloin of beef was very tender and my wife enjoyed the Sunday trio of, beef, turkey and pork belly. We were served by kris who was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing and made the meal enjoyable as well. We will definitely be returning.
My favourite pub in Aylesbury. Great food, lovely homely decor, and great service today from our server Kris. Pies were homemade and delicious. Always great!

The food was piping hot and delicious, we came in the evening, and the place had a warm and intimate atmosphere that made a dinner for 2 special. We were served by Roma, who was very friendly and eager to help us with any queries, as well as having quick friendly chats checking up on us which went a long way towards creating that warm feeling. Would definitely recommend dining here.
Great evening! Kris our server was amazing! The food was also great and the live music was an unexpected bonus. I forgot to mention great value for money.
