First visit for me and only had time for a couple of pints. Inside it is a mix of new and old, with the nooks and crannies of an old building with the fittings and fixtures of the new. Had a chat with the landlord (I assumed) who was very knowledgeable about the products he sold. I did not have time to eat there, but would not hesitate to do so. Overall impression is a well run pub, fighting like most pubs have to these days.

Held a wonderful celebratory dinner with 15 friends recently at The Swan. Thanks Gilly and Ray for exceptional food for a big group on a really busy Saturday evening. Service excellent. Bar staff really helpful and friendly. Great drinks enjoyed from Prosecco to Baby Guiness. Will definitely celebrate here again

A good selection of ales, lagers and wine available. Monday is a good day for any cask ale at £2.50 per pint.👍The staff are friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcome and normally treats are available for them. Food is very good value and quality. My favourite is the English Breakfast, I don't know how they can do it for the price. All big sporting events are covered on their multiple screens. Parking is available at the rear for a cost, with a refund off the first round. Do yourself a favour and pop in.

Had Sunday lunch today. This was the only item on the new menu that was not increased in price. Now I know the reason why. The portions were about half the size of a fortnight ago. Sorry, but the last time for me.

Late lunch. My husband had the hunter's chicken and I had the pie. Food was good and fresh. There was plenty of it. Husband was stoked that the Ale was on special on Mondays. Great friendly service.
