Big thank you to everyone at the Friars Oak who made our engagement/birthday party on Saturday 21st so brilliant! Everyone was super flexible, the garden room was perfect for what we wanted, and the food was delicious and came out exactly when we asked for it. Thank you!

Came with our daughter and son in law and baby granddaughter.
Very helpful and accommodating from the start when we asked for a quiet table as the baby was asleep.
Anita, our waitress was only too happy to sort this out. She was polite helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The pub/ restaurant is really well laid out, and decor is lovely.
The food was excellent. Lovely presentation and super tasty. Menu is lovely..something for everyone's taste and gorgeous puds. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of food served. Would highly recommend it, and we are even booking our granddaughters 1st birthday here as they have a conservatory area to hire out with buffet option.

Very friendly and helpful as soon as you walk in the door.
We’d booked using the app and our reservation was found straight away, we were shown to our seats and told our waitress would be with us soon.
Waitress was excellent and made sure we had everything we needed and checked for allergies.
Food was delicious and the perfect amount.
All in all a lovely afternoon’s dinning, will be back again soon.

Excellent food and service as usual. Our favourite place for a weekend lunch. The manager managed to squeeze in our booking for a party of 10 after our BBQ fell victim to wet weather despite already being busy. Chantelle looked after us brilliantly. We’ll be back again soon.

My friend I had a lovely afternoon at the Friars Oak. We only had cocktails (Mon to Fri 2x £12!) They were very nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Will go back.

Great welcome on our arrival. Taken to our booked table and was made to feel welcome. The menu was explained, a couple of meals were not available and we ordered drinks.
