Generous portions & fillings in sanwiches/rolls ect. Good sturdy meals and great taste. Highly recommend for breakfast & lunch, especially doorstep sandwiches! Recently visited again and still as good as I remember! Everything is freshly prepared and made there. Good old school cafe with proper food!

A secret gem. Had a magnificent roast dinner today. Every bit was incredible. 5 veg, roasties, fresh meat, Yorkshire, gravy with mint sauce. Best value I’ve ever encountered. Defo going heck next Sunday!!!!!!

Quality of food alone gives them a 5 star
Atmosphere is a bit lacking, the people runners by it are a bit stoic, and the place needs a good facelift.
But .....and that's a huge big bouncy but, the food is amazing, well cooked, tasty, nice thick good bacon, nice tasty butchers style sausages.
Plus it's encredible value for money.
A bacon sausage and egg bap, big enough to be called dinner, is only £3:70
I would definitely recommend this place.
