Stone House Hotel Restaurant

Great service from welcoming and friendly staff. We stayed in a conservatory room which was great for dogs to have access straight onto garden area. Lovely views all around. Food was excellent. Not a cheap place but a really homely and comfortable small hotel. It is positioned about a mile north of Hawes but has a beautiful short walk across fields into Hawes.

So, I gotta tell you about this Mother's Day meal we had at Stone House Hotel – it was something else! Right from the get-go, the owners and staff were super friendly. They made us feel right at home, which was a nice touch. Now, let's talk about the food. Man, oh man, it was fantastic! Everything was cooked to perfection, and they didn't skimp on the portions either. Each dish was like a work of art – you could tell they put a lot of love and care into it. But what really stood out was the vibe. It was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a family meal. Plus, the staff were on top of everything, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Overall, it was a top-notch experience. If you're looking for a spot to celebrate a special occasion or just want some darn good food, I'd definitely recommend giving Stone House Hotel a try. You won't be disappointed!

Simply marvellous, had a wonderful weekend when came as part of a car club. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, the food was lovely but best of all the staff were delightful, really friendly, helpful and attentive. The only thing that could be better would be to have proper cask ale available; I understand that this is planned. Once done this would make the Stone House perfect.
