We had a wonderful dinner at Le 2016 last night. Top class, beautifully fresh, beautifully cooked and presented. We'd have loved to spend the evening there but we were going to the theatre and they bent over backwards to make sure that we got there in good time. We thought the decor was lovely and fresh roses on the table were the perfect finishing touch.

The food is great as an introduction to what vegetarian can be in taste. So much so it has inspired me to learn more about vegetarianism. The restaurant is the whole package from ambience, music front of house ( makes me want to learn French (Trebon) and the chief.

On 17/8/19 we had a wonderful evening meal, beautifully prepared and presented.
The tastes were exceptional, as was the service.
A truly lovely experience which we will remember for many years.

Delicious, beautifully served meal. Rack of lamb was tender and sweet, pork cheek pie served with spring vegetables so tasty.
More people just need to know about it!

Another lovely meal served in this cosy little hideaway. The menu changes regularly so always something different to look forward to. Also good to be able to check menu online before booking for fussy eaters - even a veggie option now. Nice place for a special evening and will return.

This resteraunt is fabulous. We ate there on NYE and the food was delicious. There is a really nice atmosphere. The service was great and the food exceptional. I don't have any negative comments. I look forward to dining there again.

This is a fabulous restaurant, it's the holiday treat dining experience on your doorstep. Dishes are exceptional, the flavours on the plate are intense yet compliment one another in a way that leaves you savouring every morsel. Local knowledge sourcing wines and cheese is clear, good wines to compliment your meal and cheeses that will delight and surprise. It is a true taste of France in Hawick.

Found us a table without any fuss. Service was impeccable and the food wonderful. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The complimentary pre-starter and pre-desert were gorgeous.

Amazing restaurant! This is a really good authentic French restaurant. We had an amazing 3 course dinner here in August at the end of our 2 week holiday. Without doubt this is the best by far! Of course the wine was also brilliant too. If you are in the area and looking for something special this is undoubtedly the best place to go.
