Absolute value for money.
Staff were so polite and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Food was fantastic especially the breakfast. Lovely location.

Did have English breakfast- sausage tastes great with perfectly cooked poached-egg. My wife had egg Royale with salmon on it - sauce is great 😊.

Just in before 3pm but staff happy to serve our late lunch. Lovely food, beer and friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Dog friendly too.

Lovely cafe in the centre of Hawkshead. Can recommend home made soup, which was cream of cauliflower and ham hock sandwich. Will definitely be returning.

What a lovely restaurant. The staff are superb, they really made the night special for us.
The food is very nice with a couple of good vegan options. Lentil bourguignon very nice!

Nipped in here for a quick drink while staying locally.
The staff were so friendly and the food smelled so good that we ended up ordering a pizza to share even though we had recently eaten haha.

Big shout to person puring a drink and answering all out questions about food. Also young gentelmen who brought us a food had amazing knowledge about everything on menu. Service is 10/10 food is amazing!!

We had dinner here whilst on holiday. We loved the decor and atmosphere inside. Staff were attentive and really nice and the food was delicious and great value and a nice unique menu. Would highly recommend. Hope to visit again when back in lake district.

Delicious food. Can recommend the meatballs, soup and fries. And the coffee was really good. Loved the decor with extra comfy chairs too. Service was very efficient. Food and coffee was all super hot.
