Lovely cafe with tables outside. Great carrot cake and cappuccino (too milky for my taste so my next required an extra shot, perfect!)

Pleasant tearoom, with good simple food. Stopped for lunch had sandwiches, toasties, and drinks. Absolutely no issues, service was rapid and polite. Pricing was reasonable. Would happily go back there.
Since my last visit in 2018, the Minstrel's Gallery appears to be under new ownership and has undergone a major interior revamp.
The present staff have not dropped the ball. Food and service were excellent and the ambience unspoiled compared to how I remember it.
Love this tea rooms! First went many years ago while on holiday, and returned today as it is so good - cosy decor, lovely food and friendly staff. Hope to visit again next holiday.

This is a lovely place we visited twice in one week! Great home-cooked food, warm service and a lovely atmosphere of people passing by and tourists having a great time. Well worth a trip.
My wife & I must have been coming here on & off for over 40 years & the atmosphere of the place has never changed. Food & drink is always excellent, as is the service & friendly nature.
I think this place is definitely nice. Service was good, food was decent. Good price for food, don't expect a huge meal though👍👍
Popped in for a coffee yesterday & what a delight. Lovely brew & I consumed my first ever lemon & blueberry scone. OMG, if I had realised for one second how delicious they were I would have bought a truck load. Super Service, spotlessly clean & good observance of covid precautions. I can heartily recommend it.
