Just popped in for a couple while out on a wander alang the Tyne n its proper mint to find a proper pub that does a crackin' pint of snakebite..
Could be worthy of a return visit in the not so distant future

Good place for a game of pool. Well-stocked bar, screens with live football and 8 pool tables. Pool is £5 an hour per table. Friendly staff.

Always a warm welcome. Haven't been for a while so nice to see refurbishment taken out and the seating has been updated. Not so sure on the seating around the edge of the interior which has customers facing the wall/windows but still a lively bar and great atmosphere.

Used to enjoy coming here but one of the staff member spoke rudely to our group today as we used the wrong table (she put the balls on the table and did not tell us the table was in fact in use). We were then told we could not sit upstairs …
