My local area. Very friendly, look after you very well.
Been there lots. Food is good, however if you like it spicy, or hot let the chef know, he will make it too your taste. Not an expert on Indian food, so l am still learning. Don't find it overly expensive. Always a nice family night out.

We have had many takeaways from this restaurant and I can tell you that the food is excellent. If you haven't already tried it, then I recommend this restaurant. The food always arrives hot on delivery and on time.

Really great Indian food in a lovely location. Ladies toilet has needed fixing for more than a year, and they could put some alcohol free beer on the menu, but the food is basically flawless.

I invited 2 of my London down to Herne Bay for the weekend, but when I suggested going for a curry they implied it wouldn't be like some of the London Indian eateries. With confidence I took them to the Maharaja. They were full of praise, indeed one he'd never had an Indian meal as good or seen such an unusual variety on the menu. If I had to choose one Indian restaurant from the many I've tried around this country, I'd pick the Maharaja every time.

Brilliant vegetarian food. Beautifully presented, however, service could have been better. We would have liked tablecloths & napkins....We would highly recommend this restaurant - for the most important thing , the food! It was the freshest Indian ingredients we had ever had ( whilst eating out).

A very good choice of foods, from traditional to unique signature dishes, including kangaroo and shellfish. Very polite and friendly staff. The restaurant is built within an old 1920s bandstand. The fitout is spacious and contemporary. Good value food and all round reliable.

Omg Take away arrived! Absolutely the best Indian I have ever had. So tender and flavoursome very reasonably priced. Will definatly be visiting restaurant next time in Herne Bay. The best ❤❤❤
