Lovely little place , went for a early morning walk with hubby and got coffees and a Danish. It was massive so we shared . So nice full of flavour. We ate it on the sea front . Nice start to the day.

Friendly staff. Few places to sit (outside only) which was a shame. Had a lovely orange & poppyseed “palmier” - more of a croissant style pastry but buttery nonetheless. Iced coffee was good but the only non-dairy option is oat milk.

We stayed a couple days in Herne Bay, and this was our go-to place in the morning.
The focaccia's are amazing.
We were surprised at the prices, you get a lot for your money here.

Call off the search! The best custard slice in the world is here!! Fantastic selection of breads and cakes in unpretentious surroundings, super friendly staff make the whole experience fab. Look forward to coming again when next in Kent

I absolutely love this place, the best sausage rolls ever, the best croissants ever, in fact, everything they do is very very good. Freshly baked breads, cakes and some pastries and sandwiches that are just out of this world (id recommend the new york deli) with excellent staff. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone

Excellent bakery in Herne Bay, with a selection of sourdough breads, cakes and sandwiches made to measure.
Perfect to start the walk to Whitstable.

Being German and in desperate search for proper bread for the past three years I have to say this bread comes closest to the one at home. Not only the quality is outstanding but also the products are innovative. You can really see it’s a family company where all their heart goes in. Thank you so much for opening such a fantastic bakery in Herne Bay!

Lovely friendly welcome! We were visiting Herne Bay for the afternoon and popped in for a snack and coffee. We had a sausage roll and a lemon & almond cake which were both fresh and delicious. Coffee was also great! We even came back later to buy a loaf of homemade bread to take back to our campsite. Very reasonable prices too.

Can't rate this place enough. I'd suggest to Herne bay folks to visit the bakery asap. It is a fine addition to the town and they're very lucky to have Bayked. Very good Covid Procedures, so the in and out system is easy. You can see the baker making the sourdough and pastries Infront of you, which I loved!! The bread is above anything else you'll find in Herne Bay. I'll be back again when I visit the family.
