Situated next to the canal this popular pub in Hertford provides a good selection of beers. Plenty of seating inside and out of the establishment. Toilets were clean. The food came within a reasonable time frame. Lovely pub, but the atmosphere has changed.
The Christmas dinner was very nice and big. However I didn't get a picture as my phone was low. I did get one of my crème brulee which was also nice but on the small side. However I was very annoyed at service charge as I only brought £20 with me thinking that would be enough but Mum came and saved me.

I've visited this place a few times in the past. However, the experience was average, especially the food. This time food did not disappoint, really tasty hot and fresh food, definitely will be going back.
