I went to The Gatehouse a week Friday for the first time. I had Fish and Chips. This was exceptional. The beer batter was delicious, light and crisp around chunky flakey white fish. Chunkey chips with skins on and again cooked to perfection. Served with mushy peas ( a rather large portion for one !) Well cooked too. Nice place, a friendly girl serving. Well worth a visit. Have sent friends and family to try it out too. Mmmmmm.....
