Cracking scran. Tasty, very generous meals. Proper chips means *proper* chips! Quite a "hipster" atmosphere but not in a pretentious way, the staff there were really friendly and went out of their way to fetch water for our dog.

By far best pub in town, if you’re a local or traveling through you must stop in and experience the warm welcoming atmosphere. Amazing food and drinks with great music. 10 out of 10 cheers

Traditional pub, amazing food! Huge portion sizes. The owner even went to get his baby sons spare spoon so we could feed the baby. So kind and went above and beyond. The burgers were amazing and the specials really hit the spot. Definitely recommend.

First visit to Hexham and found The Tannery. Fabulous pub and very homely. Staff are really welcoming. Would love to spend more time here. Arrived too late to sample the food.

Seven of us visited today . We all had burgers at £9.95 each. Absolutely delicious and loads of food, fantastic value. The ales were great too.

Brilliant place, really good value. Bar staff are lovely. Dog friendly. Amazing selection of beers and spirits and wine. £9.95 for a massive burger, onion rings, fries, a dressed mint salad and coleslaw. Hunters chicken burger and sloppy Joe burgers are very good.

We had a fantastic lunch at The Tannery!
The staff were fantastic. They were attentive and ensured we had a great time. They really went above and beyond.
The food was delicious and the range of drinks was great as well.
If you're in Hexham, this is the pub to go to!

We stopped by for dinner on a Wednesday. Service was friendly and pretty quick, we ordered nachos, a classic burger, and a sloppy Joe burger and were pleasantly surprised at how much food came out! They don’t skimp on portion sizes here. Everything was tasty, reasonably priced, and aside from one very yappy dog, great atmosphere in the lounge area. We also enjoyed the little history bits and quizzes that came up on the tv screen. Will come again when we are back in the area.
