Been living in Hinckley for 7 years now. Tried a few different places for an occasional change but always end up coming back here. Good food for a reasonable price and friendly team. Never had a raw fish left on my windscreen… 😊

Don’t often leave reviews, but this blows Farmhouse out the water. I had a tandoori salmon for starter, it was fantastic, bursting full with flavour and garnishings also.
Mains; chicken tikka biryani, full of flavour, chicken sizes are spot on, chicken to rice ratio is 10/10, just right.
I hope I get to come back here again, honestly over the moon with my experience.

We were on a canal boating holiday looking for a takeaway meal and this was very close for us to walk to and pick up. The staff were very helpful when we rang and ordered, and very chatty and friendly when we picked it up. The food was very well wrapped up for us to carry back, and was lovely and hot and obviously freshly cooked. The chicken was very tender (we stick to chicken curries so cannot comment on lamb etc) and there was a good amount of it in each dish. The flavours were lovely. We definitely recommend Simla and will be back next time we are this way on the canal.

Visited for the first time but will definitely be back. The staff were great, plenty of people working on a Saturday night which made the service seamless. Nice atmosphere in the room we were in, not too over crowded or noisy.
The food was nice and portion sizes were good.

Lovely place a must visit excellent food good service and they cater for the kids. Very busy which is a good thing and we didn’t have to wait long for our food.
The decor is nice and seating is good night and lively.
They offer a takeaway service, dine in. I can’t fault the food it was delicious 👍 up.

Wow ,this place is amazing . There are plenty of tables and they can accommodate large groups. The choice of food and drinks are great and for all tastes.
Lots of staff ,always attentive.
The food came quickly and was presented well and beautifully cooked.
A throughly enjoyable evening, definitely recommend this place.

2nd take away from this place and we think that this is the best indian in the area...even better than the Leejah (now 2nd best)...try it for yourself and remember to leave an honest review to help others find the best food!

All round greatness!. We called at 7.30pm on a Friday night to get a table for 8.30pm. Although fully booked the were very accommodating and we were seated and eating at 9pm. Excellent customer service and extremely helpful. The food was delicious, colourful and very well presented. Whilst the restaurant was full the atmosphere was relaxed. An all round wonderful evening! Thank you :o)

Worth the travel. Never been disappointed in 10+ years at the Simla. We travel a 28 mile round trip whenever we can. Its not just the food, but the welcome, the service and the overall experience. Nothing is too much trouble.

Our First Meal at Simla. The starter was the best part of the meal - very nice. I had the aubergine pakora, sliced aubergine fried in spicy batter, and my son had the mixed vegetable pakora - although his was more like a fried aloo chat ball. The main course was a bit dry and nothing special, so a bit disappointing. We have been to much better Indian restaurants, one in particular which was much better is the Anjuna near High Cross shopping centre in Leicester. If you are not that familiar with Indian food then this is an ok place, as the setting is great and the service was very good. If we were to give the whole experience a mark out of 10 for Simla then we would give 6/10 overall.
