Simla

We were on a canal boating holiday looking for a takeaway meal and this was very close for us to walk to and pick up. The staff were very helpful when we rang and ordered, and very chatty and friendly when we picked it up. The food was very well wrapped up for us to carry back, and was lovely and hot and obviously freshly cooked. The chicken was very tender (we stick to chicken curries so cannot comment on lamb etc) and there was a good amount of it in each dish. The flavours were lovely. We definitely recommend Simla and will be back next time we are this way on the canal.

Don’t often leave reviews, but this blows Farmhouse out the water. I had a tandoori salmon for starter, it was fantastic, bursting full with flavour and garnishings also. Mains; chicken tikka biryani, full of flavour, chicken sizes are spot on, chicken to rice ratio is 10/10, just right. I hope I get to come back here again, honestly over the moon with my experience.

Lovely place a must visit excellent food good service and they cater for the kids. Very busy which is a good thing and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The decor is nice and seating is good night and lively. They offer a takeaway service, dine in. I can’t fault the food it was delicious 👍 up.

Wow ,this place is amazing . There are plenty of tables and they can accommodate large groups. The choice of food and drinks are great and for all tastes. Lots of staff ,always attentive. The food came quickly and was presented well and beautifully cooked. A throughly enjoyable evening, definitely recommend this place.
