I love the fish & chips here the portion sizes are perfect, the batter on the fish is light & entirely edible. The chips are perfectly cooked (to my taste) & never contain horrible crunchy over cooked bits. The only chip shop where I can eat every last morsel of the food I purchase. Highly recommended without reservation

What a difference to ‘normal’ fish and chips. Lighter batter,much nicer fish than we’ve ever had and a lovely portion size. It’s quite our way but well worth the drive. Lovely family atmosphere too! Thank you Penalunas!

Really friendly staff my order was take pretty quickly.
Had to wait for fresh chips (absolutely no problem waiting). Prices are quite high- but I think at the moment that goes across the board with eating out.
Battered sausage was nice, pie nice but the best bit was the Irish curry!!!

It was my first time at Penalunas Fish Bar and I ordered Cod and chips. The food was beautiful not overcooked or undercooked and it was cooked fresh. I even had a slice of lemon which you rarely get any more. The staff were friendly and extremely busy but still smiled.
I will definitely be going there again.

At last now had the ultimate in Fish and chips. Flavor of the Cod and batter was outstanding. Had been recommended this restaurant for its quality and I can certainly vouch for it. Nice fast service Nice staff, clean and Tidy. Good menu choice, and it won't break the bank. certainly be back. And a photo of my Cod, chips and mushy peas.
