Curried goat & Rice n peas + a fried dumpling. Absolutely delish, wicked portion for the price, enjoyed it so much I'm going back for more today. I'd highly recommend. Edit: in response to the owners reply, no, thank you!, if you keep up with this quality of food you'll do well.. I hope next time Hitchin does a 'taco wars' you guys might consider doing a Jerk taco or something. I wish you all the best with the business!

Worth the wait! During lockdown we couldn't get to it but now it is fully open, we decided to give it a try. During lockdown we have had much more in the way of takeaway/delivery food so we now know more about what's out there. This is out of the ordinary and definitely different - in a good way. We went for the special of the day, brown chicken stew with rice and peas. With it we had plantain and sweet potato fries. Could have done with a little more plantain, otherwise it was very plentiful - and delicious! Felt like we were having genuine home made Caribbean, a real pleasure. We used the delivery service which was bang on time. We have learned from experience that most delivered food needs a quick burst in the microwave just to get back to piping hot. Great value for money, and definitely recommended.

As I entered the shop, I was greeted by a lovely lady. The owner then came out from the kitchen to give his recommendations. I ordered the curry goat, which came with festival, rice & peas. My wife ordered ackee and salt fish with a side of chips and festival due to her allergy with rice, the owner was really understanding and wanted to be as helpful as possible. The food was amazing, the mix of flavours was spot on - authentic Caribbean cuisine. Portions were so good that my wife couldn’t finish her food. I cannot wait to go back and try more from the menu.
