We stumbled across this hidden little gem. Owner was lovely, very welcoming & even though it was busy found somewhere for us to sit & eat. We had big breakfast which was tasty & cooked to perfection, no complaints! There was plenty, refill of coffee/tea, as well as a small O.J
Nice atmosphere, clean, little children made welcome.
Amazing price for what we got. We will definitely be back & highly recommend! (Also next door to Nora Batty''s & Compos steps).

Lack of staff so only beverages and cakes on offer. Warm scones looked delightful but unfortunately a bit dry and lacking in flavour. Owner was very friendly. Coffee was hot and good quality. Nice environment. I would go back again.

Only popped in for a quick brew but glad I found this place. Staff friendly. Given plate of buiscuits to have with my tea. Nice clean cafe. Will be back to sample the food.

We really enjoyed our time at Riverside cafe today . The staff were really nice and made us feel very welcome . We had two big lattes and they even bought us out two sorts of biscuits . Would really recommend . Unfortunately not suitable if you cannot do steps up to reach it as you are on a balcony .

Stopped off here for coffee and cake on our way home after a day out. The owner was so friendly and bubbly with a great sense of humour. Coffee was lovely and the cake was a generous portion and homemade. I will return to try some of his home cooked food.

Nice cafe .ordered a ham bap it came with a lovely side salad with pickle and coleslaw .portion size absolutely massive and it only cost £7.50. The owner is very friendly like most Yorkshire folk are.

A lovely, calm and pleasant place to have a coffee and catch up with my friend! Owner of cafe very friendly, polite and made us feel welcome, chatting about surrounding areas of Holmfirth. Service was spot on! Scones are scrumptious! Well worth a visit, we will be back!
