Came here today as a birthday treat and my friend had pre-ordered our afternoon tea. I can highly recommend , we even got a huge sparkler . Katie was so attentive , the food was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble , please keep doing what you are doing as it’s perfect in every way

Came in for lunch first, yesterday. Ordered 2 Ploughman's and a portion of home made chips to share. The lovely gentleman at the front did advise the portions were big and if I wanted to wait before ordering the chips but I didn't. Couldn't get over the size of the Ploughman's! Was definitely a bonus ordering chips though and was full for the rest of the day. Took some leftovers home.

Called Sunday morning and received a friendly greeting in this dog friendly establishment.
The omelette was fantastic and the regular breakfast included two slices of toast with proper butter and unlimited good coffee, all good value. The sausages weren't quite to my liking but I am fussy, the excellent eggs require a special mention.

Classic tea room experience with the additional frissance of Norah Batty’s stockings. Delicious moist brown bread sandwiches and quiche both with a fresh salad and coleslaw. Very good quality and plenty enough for lunch. Highly recommended
Top class service, most helpful staff, better selection of vegan menu than many pubs. Visited on 15 May 2023, wife has food allergies and found the vegan menu so reassuring that she could eat safely. Choice of soya milk, chips cooked separately, non dairy spread. The breakfast bap was filled with two eggs, quality sausages, hardly any fat on bacon. Coffees served hot not like warm as many other establishments. Value for money in todays climate good. No complaints a very satisfied table of four .

Nice quirky little place. Friendly staff with quiet relaxed atmosphere. Regular breakfast is highly recommended. Unlimited tea/coffee included, fresh orange juice and toast/jam.
