Lovely hidden away, traditional, no-nonsense pub that serves a superb quality pint. I had Timothy Taylors Landlord which was in excellent condition. Dog friendly, too!

Love the farmers but was extremely disappointed to bectold last night that the taylors landlord won't be coming back on! It was the best pint in town and I don't mind paying a little extra for quality. The farmers blond is ok but the other 2 i tried yesterday were very poor😕 …
An incredible, friendly pub with a great buzz about it. The staff are so welcoming and humble - we know most of them by first name now. It’s also our favourite Guinness in holmfirth! And they don’t stop short on music and food. Regular …
The noise pollution coming from this pub is beyond disrespectful. How the houses nearby don't continually kick off is beyond me. Even over half a Kilometer away up the valley the noise is incessant. No regards for the local area at all.
