Stayed for a night in the small double which was very nice, clean and well equipped. A soft bed. Had dinner in the Michelin restaurant with the wine flight, again all very good. The Sommelier made some excellent choices to go with the already great food. The breakfast the next morning was also very nice. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was delightful. Our own private patio, lounge area and wonderful luxury bathroom with a wet room shower and TV! The 7 course tasting menu was superb and breakfast in the morning perfect.

Had a lovely dinner whilst on holiday in Norfolk. Food was fantastic, especially the Tempura Halibut. Wine pairing with dinner was very good. The whole team was welcoming and attentive. Thank you 👍

We had a lovely dinner at Morston Hall. General vibe was relaxed refinement and I thought the food and front of house combined to execute this mood perfectly. It was nice to see the Head Chef talking to all the tables and clearly demonstrated great passion for his food. I felt the tasting menu was good value considering the quality of the dishes. My personal favourites were a Katsu Scallop stater and a wonderful Halibut dish. The fish was served with salmon cavier and peas - the visual effect from the well-matched colours and shapes made this a beautiful dish on the plate. We had a decent bottle of Picpoul and a couple of glasses for the beef and desserts. The Pinotage was really good, the Tokaji even better. Special mention to our waiter Max, who was just starting out in his career. His enthusiasm and knowledge were great. Wish him lots of success in hospitality, a natural.

Wonderful afternoon tea, in a truly beautiful setting, we had a wonderful gentleman (Tudor) look after us, and he was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious too. Great service, great food, great view

Fabulous 7 course Michelin star tasting menu. Attentive staff, knowledgeable of each course and passionate about wine list. Service slow, and exceptionally long. Expensive for what you get.

One night stay. Michelin-starred restaurant-with-rooms. We stayed in one of their spacious garden pavilion suites. Which have a lounge area and patio. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bath with a TV. Almost all rooms are pet-friendly. As it was such a glorious, sunny afternoon, we took a short walk to Morston Quay. Our doggies loved it, having a paddle and being able to cool off. At night, canapés are served in the lounge or in the lavender-scented garden. Breakfast is served in the conservatory. Cooked Breakfast Choice of Free Range Eggs. Smoked Bacon, Pork Sausage, Black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread. Using local produce and served with warm welcoming service. You couldn't hope for somewhere more comfortable to stay.

Great meal, expensive for what you get. We did the taster Menu with Wine pairing. Service was good but slow. Staff were very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable. Be prepared for a long evening, we arrived at 5.30pm, canapés at 6pm and didn't leave till 10.10pm.

Dinner was excellent (high quality tasting menu and attentive service). Our bedroom was very ordinary and quite noisy (especially with window open thanks to the sound of a boiler or similar outside). Breakfast was OK but service at breakfast was poor. Overall it was expensive (£630 for 2 inc drinks) which I feel would have needed better accommodation to be warranted.

We've stayed here a few times over the years. This was our second time staying in the main house. Comfortable enough but I didn't sleep very well due to poor quality pillows. I should have asked for more I know. Evening dinner was superbly prepared but service wasn't without its niggles. Three wines chosen from the wine-list were unavailable and then being asked if they could take our wine order when it had already been taken. This happened a few times during our stay and obviously shows a lack of communication between staff. The Sommelier seemed to have limited knowledge and the young lady on reception came across as slightly surly. The highlight was us spending quite a lot of time talking to and being shown around the grounds by the Head Gardener. He was superb!
