Liked: We were visiting for a wedding down the road so was perfect location for us. The campsite was pretty simple but all we needed - the toilet and shower facilities were great and always in clean condition - the showers are probably the best I've had on a campsite. It was great to have the restaurant available on site for an evening meal as we didn't want to bring along any cooking equipment as were travelling light. Gerald was lovely to have a chat to and learn about the campsite. We also took up the opportunity to book extra the fire pit for the evening which came with everything needed to make a fire and plenty of wood to burn. A great little spot for a campsite.

Liked: We had a perfect stay at this lovely site. If you like the countryside, and peace and quiet, this is the place to come.Everything was clean and tidy, and the owners are delightful, offering every help you need. The restaurant barn was great, food excellent and all farm fresh. And the best bit is, you have lovely spring water to drink. Our little was very welcome, and had some nice walks to take on her lead. Highly recommend this site for all ages.

Liked: Lovely rural location, birdsong and far reaching views. The hosts were just super. The food alone was well worth the journey. The mountain biking in the area is outstanding. It gave us the appitite to really appreciate the food at the Swallow Barn restaurant on site. Thanks so much, hopefully we shall return. Disliked: The sloping site, but only because I have a problem with my achillies at the moment. The site gave outstanding views and so no complaits from us.

Liked: The breakfast & afternoon tea was yummy. The Grass pitch was nice but you will need ramps. Basic showers & toilets worked fine. Owners were great. It was a typical farm environment so dont expect 5☆ as its a bit rustic but it works great. Would defo call again. Disliked: Close to the road the traffic quietens down after tea.

Liked: Loved the home cooked food and great staff. Very polite and helpful. I can highly recommend the steak and Red wine pie. Nice little bar with a great variety of drinks available including alcahol free beer and gin. If your going out for the day if you pre order they will even make sandwiches for you to take. All in all loved our stay.

Liked: Slightly quirky campsite. Large converted barn area for meals with bar. The barn/cafe area really makes this campsite stand out, if you were here in very poor weather it gives you a nice area to hang out in and have a drink. Breakfast was amazing and the hosts are very nice. Its a working farm so great to have a walk round and see what's going on. Disliked: We didn't have anything to dislike but a note of caution, some of the pitches looked slightly sloping so make sure if you are in a van you have ramps to level up. The hosts were really thoughtful and as we had booked in as a 6m van they put us on one of the hardstanding pitches at the bottom near the cafe.

Liked: Gerald & Pamela are excellent hosts. Helpful & cheerful. The site itself has stunning views, with the addition of your own fire pit makes caravan & camping a joy with others. Pamela made sure we was together. Caravan & tent awning. This is on a slope but pitched tent accordingly, it’s the sitting outside to enjoy family interaction. A ‘rustic’ site with electric!! Second year of visiting. We love it .

Liked: My second favourite campsite. My favourite side in Brecon only wins because it’s closer to home. Great site with everything I needed. On site pub / restaurant is great and the owners were amazing. It had a classic campsite feel, kids running around having fun adults sat around relaxing.
