Stanhill Court Hotel

We were travelling from Gatwick the following day, so decided to stay here the night before to avoid travel worries. Bonus is that the car can be left there whilst were away. Set in 35 acres of parkland and woodland this venue is only about 4 miles away from the airport. A 15-20 minute £17.50 taxi ride away. Wonderful parkland with mature trees, set away from the world. A late 19thC building that has been modernised for hotel and conference purposes. Apparently specialising in weddings. Room was excellently presented with wide luxurious and comfortable beds. TV with a remote that worked. En suite was compact but had a really strong shower with both fixed overhead and hand held options. Towels were clean and relatively new in appearance. Bedding was clean and very comfortable with two pillows (one firmer than the other for choice). A selection of tea and coffee makings as would be expected and the kettle was efficient (i.e. it didn't take 20 minutes to boil). A wholly lovely place that started out holiday without any worries at all. If you are travelling from Gatwick, this was an excellent overnight option with secure car parking in the grounds at what I found to be a very very competitive price.

We recently had our Wedding here and what an amazing experience it was. From driving up to Stanhill and meeting Jackie for our first meeting, it was brilliant. The hotel and all of the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive throughout. Our day went off without a hitch and we couldn’t have been happier with everything Jackie and the team did to make it magical for us. We had a 2 day work event in the Stanhill. It was excellent and everyone was thoroughly impressed with the hotel. The staff were amazing, service was brilliant and they were so accommodating and attentive. We couldn't have asked for more. After some unfortunate and exhausting flight cancellations, booked a night at Stanhill Court nearby Gatwick airport. We had to check in close to midnight, after the kitchen was long closed and there wasn’t a place nearby to get food or snack. So grateful to the night manager that he didn’t let us go hungry, provided excellent hospitality with a tray of food and warm milk for our kid.

We recently had our wedding here! What can I say… literally faultless! Jackie was unbelievable! She is the reason our wedding was so smooth. We viewed several venues, none of which came with a Jackie, she gave a feeling of pure trust and made us feel so valued. Jackie was so warm and welcoming she felt like family. Nothing was too much! The venue was spotless, beautiful and stunning. The staff all of them so friendly and accommodating! The rooms were in great order and clean. All of our guests were nothing but complimentary and we had 128 day guests. Thank you Stanhill Court for making our dream wedding perfect all of the staff were amazing. Thank you Jackie Especially as you made it all happen and stress free! Beautiful setting, Great staff, lovely rooms, Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Me and my wife were married here recently and it was the happiest day of our lives. The hotel was the perfect venue for the occasion and we fell in love with it at first sight. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are elegant and the honeymoon suite was luxurious. The facilities were great and the drinks kept flowing from morning until finish (a reasonable prices!). We married in the amphitheatre which made it unique for us. The food was spectacular on our wedding day as well. The lamb is to die for (people were talking about it weeks afterwards!). The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Every one of them was ready to come to your aid and no request went unmet. We could not be more grateful to them. Stanhill Court will always be a memorable place to us and for anyone looking to get married here I would wholeheartedly recommend you do. You won't have a single regret and you'll have many memories to treasure. Thank you!

Second time here in the last 2 years. Plenty of parking. Staying here as a package deal with room and parking. Grounds are immaculate. The rooms have been refurbished recently. Food is very good. London prices but to be expected. Would stay again and recommend to others. Taxi is £17.50 of which £5.00 is drop off free so good value.
