We moved to Horsforth a few months ago and this is another cracking restaurant... the standard around here is really high! Cosy and busy little place tucked into a corner of Horsforth Town Street. All of our food was so fresh and nice, my Chicken Pasanda was great with plenty of meat and my partner's Murgh Makhani was beautiful, I'll get that next time! Nice big naans as well.
Definitely going again before long, great meal.
Visited on Good Friday, it looked busy but luckily we had booked beforehand. Ordered the lamb chops, chicken tikka and onion bhajis for starters, they were lovely. Bhajis were some of the best I’ve ever had. The sauce on the lamb chops was very nice as well.
Had the Tandoori chicken for our main, tikka masala and a lamb balti. The tandoori chicken was absolute Devine, it came with a naan which we upgraded to a garlic naan, it was so garlicy and soft.
The restaurant is rather small but it has a good atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Service was impeccable. Very reasonably priced for the location. I can see why moghuls was recommended to us by friends.
It is bring your own alcohol - if you forget they allow you to buy from the pub next door or you could nip to Morrisons up the road
Would definitely recommend to curry lovers in the local area - we will be back.
Very lovely little restaurant and a lot of choices of different curries. The menu is helpful as it tells you which curries are suited to how much spice you can handle!
