Thought I would try this chippy after hearing good reports about it and I have to say it was better than expected. Large portion of well cooked crispy battered fish and plenty of chips, peas and curry sauce were very tasty. Will be going back very soon for more.

My sister in law uses the Cove regularly and as had never been, brought us 2 Haddock ,1 chips and large mushy peas. What a delight, best Haddock I have ever had. Chips , not usual my thing, were lovely, tasty and crisp. Def give this thec5 stars as she said the staff are lovely to.

Absolutely lovely fish and chips! They also do a poached fish which is perfect when you're wanting something a little healthier and tastes delightful! Highly recommend!

We have moved here from London in early August and have been to Cove four times already. The fish is simply delicious, large and beautifully made every time and the chips are very generously heaped on. We love it. Prices went up October 1st for obvious reasons but it's absolutely still worth it and the quality means that we don't care, we will support Cove going forwards in return for great food. Staff are all very professional and courteous as well.
