Had a delicious Sunday Roast Chicken dinner today.
I Would highly recommend this pub if you want to sample good quality home made food . The staff are lovely and really friendly.
It's also a real family friendly pub.
The gardens are lovely and really well kept as is the decor inside the pub.
Will definitely be going back again soon.

I was here with my colleagues for staff party from my work place back in January. Great plece to have a drink and watch a game. Good choice of drinks, an food was good too. Friendly staff.

Atmosphere lively and friendly.
Doesn't look much from the outside but don't let that fool you, it is a really nice, inviting pub. Would happily visit again.
First time visit went to a 40th birthday party was outside at the back pretty big area enjoyed the evening
An excellent, friendly customer service. The staff were very accommodating and happy to help. The food was extremely tasty with HUGE portions!!! My Dad has a very healthy appetite and even he couldn’t finish it all. The jerk chicken was flavoured to perfection and the rice it came with was scrumptious, ALL the food was amazing!! We will definitely be returning, it’s very reasonably priced considering the portion sizes.

I heard fantastic reviews on the food and menu produced by the new chef Roy, from a friend of mine.
So I traveled from Essex to suss it out.
Can I just say "wow". The food was tasty, hot, fresh and colourful.
Being a foodie myself, I noticed the slight tweaks on the classic Sunday roast that really completed the dish and allows me to see the effort the chef put in. For example, the heritage carrots (purple) and the cubed swede and the fact that the food wasn't cremated. Plus I had salmon instead of meat which was seasoned perfectly.
I then had the 'melting chocolate fondant' which just finished me off. Delicious.
The bar staff were fantastic too, (Karim and Lauren). They were welcoming, talkative, funny and really do seem to enjoy working there which is fantastic to see considering that hospitality is hard work.
What's really refreshing is that I saw the landlords treating everyone like family. It's great to see them be kind to their staff and customers.
The atmosphere was great, its family friendly, I saw a few old boys sitting on their own and I noticed that the friendly staff and other customers still spoke to them. There's a real sense of community spirit here.
I will definitely be back and am excited to see the place really shine.

What a fantastic pub! Pizza was amazing, there were 5 of us and must say staff, atmosphere and experience was 10 out of 10, would recommend this pub to anyone!
What can I say....this pub is a beautiful gem, a country pub in London ,situated not far from a stunning park. absolutely perfect, perfect for dogs after a long walk.. Family orientated and if you like watching the odd game of football.,always accommodating. Drinks everything you what you want, all on tap. Food, menu is good, no waiting, brought to your table...no fuss.

If you you love sport this is the place to be with a big outdoor scream with undercover seating and heating for the winter but if you prefer to be indoors there are three more screens.
Dog lovers paradise as they are always welcome with fresh water on tap just like the beer👍
