I’ve lived in Hove for a while now and until about 6 months ago, I have always passed over Baked without really seeing it. I was very positively surprised with their food, friendly staff and lovely coffees. They have recently renovated their upstairs sitting space and it’s looking lovely and with a better sitting layout. We love the huevos rancheros and the wild mushrooms, but went for the Full English and Grilled Halloumi Avocado toast, and they were excellent as well, packed with flavour and generous portions. Hope to come back soon 😊
This was spur of the moment that we popped in here. Food great - the veggie breakfast was particularly nice and so were the pancakes with bacon. The rest of the breakfast/brunch menu was varied and looked appetising. I saw a number going to tables around us. Portion sizes were great. Service excellent with helpful and friendly staff. Will certainly go here again.
Really nice breakfast and reasonably priced. Friendly staff & quick service. I had the house breakfast, which had these especially delicious crispy potatoes, and my partner had the American breakfast. Also ordered a delicious hot chocolate, an apple juice and a kitkat latte. We left feeling very satisfied. Would definitely return.
The wild mushroom brunch with a poached egg is absolutely magnificent, highly recommended. Lovely little place with good menu, great food and nice people.
This was my second visit to Baked in a week and we loved it, again!
We came over from Lancing for opening at 8am and there was such a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
The owner was working and he was chatting with us about the history of the cafe, and was really welcoming to our 7month old son.
My husband and I both had the huevos rancheros and we both said how it tasted like breakfasts we’d had in Central America - absolutely gorgeous food. We’ll be back soon :)
Excellent breakfast. Good to charge your batteries in the morning.
Now with COVID-19 the staff is not wearing a mask but you can feel safe due that they are following the protocols to do everything through your phone
Visited on a whim and was very impressed. Welcoming friendly staff who took my pram downstairs for me with no trouble at all. Great menu catering for different tastes and dietary needs. Only fault I had was that the food could have been warmer! Would visit again though.

Great range of very tasty dishes. Good atmosphere and service. Will go again. Have revisited, I was delighted that my subsequent visit equalled if not exceeded my previous visit. The service was even better. Courteous, friendly and attentive. An additional plus, budget friendly you will not feel that your wallet has been pillaged.
Have had a nice vegan breakfast here on a few occasions. The avocado tastes a bit strange for some reason but everything else is delicious! Love the lil potatoes!
