Called in randomly for a spot of sunday lunch. The place was very busy, but staff were polite and managing to clear tables quickly.
We were advised there would be a 45 minute wait. When the food came out it was hot, fresh and well presented. Well worth the wait.
Arrived on spec as a table of 7, the team were extremely short handed and yet we were still seated and served after a short wait. All our food arrived fairly quickly and hot and as ordered. The 3 team members were clearly being pushed but performed admirably. Much praise is deserved. Thank you from a fellow publican.
Service was a bit slow, staff friendly and the food was good. Good selection of drinks, nice outdoor seating by the water front. Would definitely go again.

my dad can't walk very far and is on a mobility scooter and the staff went out of there way to make sure he could access all parts of the pub by putting up a ramp for him and making him feel included. food was lovely and staff were very friendly and accommodating we will definitely be visiting again.
I love this pub, the staff are so friendly, the food is good and the location is a bonus, When ever me and the family decide to go out for dinner we always pick here!! The katsu curry is our favourite my partner absolutely loves it, everything I have tried on the menu I have enjoyed and it's nice to sit outside next to the river and watch the boats go, I deffo recommend, see you again and thank you for always giving us a lovely experience ❤️
Room was a good size, clean, decorated to a good standard, bed was comfortable, large bathroom area. Breakfast was very good, staff all very friendly and helpful, location was perfect to the town and broads. For the price you can't get better. Dinner was nice to.
We did stay over in the Hotel as we were on the Broads, but it is an ideal place to stay overnight moored up. They have a good selection of beers and a good standard pub grub menu at a good price.
The staff although attentive and professional did seem very put out for some reason.
It should be noted that access to the mooring is tidal because of the low bridge so be sure to check the height of your boat and the tide schedule.
We ate outside. 2 kids meals, 4 adult meals. The meals were affordable and very nicely cooked. We were sat outside watching the boats go by. All in all a great experience. The staff were efficient and friendly and we can't say fairer than that. We didn't go inside so I cannot comment on the indoor facilities.
Never been here before so didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised when we were seated by this lovely waitress very quickly. I ordered the fish and chips and the service was excellent! Very fast and the fish was one of the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely top notch service and the food was amazing, I also had the Chocolate fondant and it was superb. We will definitely be back.
Stopped here for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Food was lovely and priced very well. The hotel was clean and fresh with a good sized riverside terrace to sit on.
Staff were friendly and helpful without being too in your face.
All in all a fantastic experience here, would definitely recommend to anyone.
Visited today for a birthday lunch, unfortunately there was an issue with kitchen equipment but the staff and manager Damien tried their very best to sort menus and communicate with us. No problem, lunch was good, siftly served, friendly good service. Will go back when kitchen is fixed. Thanks.
