Minster Fish Bar

Looking for local fish and chip shop that was good and a work colleague suggested Minster fish bar. Arrived on a Friday night and it was doing a really good trade......always a good sign. Ordered 3 large fish and chips and a battered sausage and were quickly served. On arriving home the carrier bag felt really heavy and we got down to dishing them out. Inside there were absolutely loads of lovely dark coloured chips that were really soft on the inside and so tasty. The large fish were massive and not all batter like other places we have visited previously. The fish was full of thick white fillets and tasted delicious. The quantity you get here I thought was fantastic and this will now be our go to chippy! Also they do not charge extortionate prices. Well in minster fish bar.... being a massive fish and chip fan,I was very impressed.

It’s the Best fish and chips around Goole and howden área the Staff are very friendly and smiley , the atmosphere in there is so happy that Everyone will feel welcome. I was so glad to found a gluten free fish cake . It Was delicious ,highly recommended this place . Will be definitely going back again 💯 %
