So many wonderful dining experiences at Eric’s. Staff are always really attentive and polite, all the way from a warm welcome upon arrival to the end of dining, the wait time between meals / drinks is never too long or too little, they’ve got that just right. The food is delicious and of highest standard with quality in mind. We especially enjoy the Eric’s themed nights! Ie: A Night in New York etc. The ambience and atmosphere is warm and inviting, whether you want to go for an evening or daytime occasion, the mood is always right. Up there with the best fine dining in the north, thank you many great nights and more to come!

Great food and an amazing, cosy atmosphere. The menu is quite limited but this is likely the key to great flavour and therefore a great experience! Id rather have less choice but perfection in taste and flavour. We had a prior booking and were seated immediately. The food came out hot and within a few minutes of ordering. There was nothing that I wouldn't order again which is probably the highest praise I could give a restaurant.

Absolutely wonderful food and service. We visited 03.12.23 for an early family Christmas dinner with my parents. Eric's, as usual was fabulous. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where the chef understands food as much as Eric Paxman does, everything goes together perfectly and is seasoned beautifully. Paired with excellent service Eric's really is worth a try if you haven't been.

As Mrs C had been a few times and raved about how good it was, I thought it was time to finally try Eric's. And she was right. Very right. Everything was delicious. We came as a family to say farewell after travelling the UK for 5 weeks. And it was a fitting farewell. The two course for £25, before 6.30pm, was excellent value. Steak. Fish. Each dish was delightful. I'm only sorry that we don't live closer as I'd definitely be back. Highly recommended.
