The Wappy Spring Inn

Had a lovely meal at Wappy Spring LindleyMoor Road on Sunday. A huge portion of beautiful roast lamb, mint sauce, massive fluffy roast spuds and mash, cabbage, broccoli and carrots and damn good gravy. We had 3 starters, I had garlic mushrooms which were really nice, Greg had the fresh vegi soup and Mick had the samosas, both said they really enjoyed them. It came to about £48 which I think was really good value, that was 4 drinks, 4 roast dinners and 3 starters. Highly recommend you drive past Toby’s and go here instead. Very good value for money and they’re not stingy on the meat! Attentive staff and a warm friendly atmosphere, plenty of parking and not rushed in the slightest. A wonderful countryside pub with fantastic grub!

Great location to watch the world go by. Friendly and inviting staff make the experience all the more pleasant. Good menu with food served promptly and piping hot. Splendid selection of beers on tap and a varied range of wines and spirits also available. All moderately priced. Ample parking available.

Fantastic service and food was excellent with good menu choices and fantastic presentation on delivery. Nice warm feel to the pub and some lovely Happy bar and waiting staff. Lots of regulars calling in for some good laughs and a drink or two. Will definitely go back and probably make it a regular basis too. Well done to the owner and staff.

What a lovely place,staff so friendly and most of all the food was 10 out of 10. I must say try the bona toffee pie with ice cream OMG out of this world. I had the lamb dinner way too much but so beautiful. My hubby had the home made scampi and chips he said it was lovely. I cant say enough just try for your self :) the pub is ready comfortable and lots of space. So your not closed in. What you see outside is not what you get in side xxx
