We had a fantastic meal. Mine was vegan and it was the best curry around the area. Lovely service and being a bring your own it was really well priced for fresh tasty food

Company Christmas meal here, food was fantastic, very reasonably prices, you have to take your own booze.
Only gripe would have been getting pre-warned it is a cash only place, especially when you're paying for all 12 people, would have saved me running about trying to find a cash machine whilst it was lagging it down and everyone else was enjoying the beer.
That said once sorted a great place and atmosphere 👍

Solos has been a part of Skelmanthorpe since forever, and deserves its place on the main road. Me and my family have been ordering from here for over 2 decades either at the restaurant, over the phone or on JustEat. Everytime we have ordered it has been perfect in taste and spice level.
The restaurant itself is beautiful in appearance and amazing in atmosphere. You do have to bring your own drinks and it is cash only. The service is impeccable.

servers were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. food was really good. but be warned they do not take card and by the time we had all finished eating and got the bill, all the shops with cash machines near were closed but one. thankfully, not everyone in our party was drinking so we were able to drive to a cash point. there is a notice saying cash only but so tiny you wouldn’t notice (there were 7 of us and not 1 of us saw it) that being said, we’d go back as we had a lovely evening. we’d just bring cash next time!!

Good Indian food. Hot, and tasty. Free popadoms with takeaway. Nan breads are very heavy and doughy. Parking at rear. Restaurant is clean and appealing. Oh the restaurant is upstairs

Wonder food and a reasonable price , with doggy bags so to speak to take home any left overs.
The service was absolutely without any critism.
Recommend you come with plenty parking around the back.
I especially recommend the house mixed Indian grill 😋
