We visit here quite often because of the quality of their fish and chips. We have been to other places to try too, around Huddersfield and other nearby towns and none match this chippy. I now have just a fish butty and pinch some of hubby's chips as there's that many in a portion of regular fish & chips, that I struggle eating so many. If you ever come to Huddersfield you must try here. They are reasonably priced too. There's free parking on the forecourt to the premises and also on main road adjacent. It also has a disabled access entrance and toilet. They have an app too where you can order in advance for collection or delivery and you can also sit in their restaurant at no extra cost.

First visit here , got a fish to take out and it was great and the batter was perfect , will definately be visiting again . . Very pleasant and helpful staff too . .

I'm impressed! Visited for the first time. Paid £7.95 for Fish & Chips. Portion was so large it could be shared between 2people. Fish was filling and chips were tasty. Highly recommend Mother Hubbard's 🍽

Visited with the children and the staff were welcoming and couldn't of been more attentive when it came to the children. The place itself was lovely and clean. Overall reasonably price and good quality food. Keep up the amazing work.

Pretty good food. We got the jumbo fish and chips which came in a 12" size pizza box. No complaints to be made and decent fish and chips. Thanks for the lovely meal folks xo

First time visiting this establishment and honestly was a great first time! The food was amazing, perfect size portions. The staff were polite, friendly and very welcoming. The place was very clean and kept on top of. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

First time in Huddersfield from London and I had one of the best fish & chips I've tasted. The service was excellent. The manger is top guy.
