Great to see this pub under new management. Grabbed a couple of beers on Sunday. The beer was perfect and now looking forward to sampling more with some food which sounds great 👍

Popped in for a drink on our walk. Under new management, was made very welcome with Alec. Came out into beer garden to see if we needed more drinks. Help give us directions and filled up my water bottle as it was very hot out. Would definitely recommend

Highly recommend the HPA ale. Great flavor, light and delicious.
The food, all I can say is, it is BRILLIANT at the basics. Every dish I’ve had has been so flavorful.
10/10 would recommend. Just don’t make the place too crowded. I like not having to make reservations

Much nicer, larger and more relaxed inside than the street frontage indicates. Wide range of draught ales, and a standard pub menu at perfectly ok prices (I ordered after 2pm, although might be a fluke). Large beer garden. No problems with the music & volume (chart indie rock, Amy Winehouse etc.). Saw a lovely greyhound come in, so dogs welcome at least in the garden.
