My server jack was attentive, polite and couldn’t have been any better. The food was delicious with generous portions and fresh flavours. The artisan vibe that permeated throughout the room paired excellently with my fresh steak ciabatta. The location is refreshing with panoramic views and pooches passing by. Overall 10/10 experience and can’t wait to be back again soon.

Visited on a Saturday night for my birthday with a party of 5. We booked a table for 7:30pm, we had a confirmation email to prove, but on arrival we were told we didn’t have a booking and had to wait for a table despite there being lots of empty tables. The restaurant was really quiet. Service was good. When we were seated the waitress informed us of what food wasn’t available which was helpful. The food was really nice, however the portion size of the Garlic Mushrooms was small, barely any mushrooms. The Steak and Ale Pie and Korean Chicken Strips were delicious, I definitely recommend.

After a walk around the war memorial and Werneth Low, we called in at the Hare and Hounds and got a table booked. It was busy as it was Saturday lunch / early afternoon but staff was attentive and available. The food was all delicious and there was a great amount of drinks to choose from. Always a good place for a drink and for food.

It was a unplanned visit for a quick drink. Heard about this place before but never had a opportunity to visit but not disappointed at all!Pub is very well situated, views are absolutely amazing,sittting area is quite spacious ,car park is also good size.Staff are very friendly, prices are good,unfortunately we didn't have any food but saw "neighbour's plates" and i can said it looks delicious ,we will back there soon for a food and more drinks!

We popped In for breakfast, newly refurbished to a very high standard with an amazing outdoor space to complement the views. They didn't quite get it right with our breakfasts (mistakes happen) but they bent over backwards to make things right. Will 10/10 return. Highly recommended.

Visited as a party of 4 adult family members for a late lunch in the sun.
The refurbishment has been so well done.
With a beautiful large outside partially covered dining/ seating area with great music in the back ground & table service.
A warm welcome & smart super friendly staff served us quickly despite it being busy & a sunny Saturday afternoon.
The chef & his team have to be congratulated!
Myself & my husband chose the Sea bass & Scallops on a bed of pea & risotto... Wow! It was beautiful and melted in the mouth.
Bursting with flavour.
Two chose the fish & chips & smothered chicken options.
Both were well presented & very tasty & the sticky toffee pudding for dessert was so good too.
Really have to congratulate all concerned on this winning combination of beautiful food In lovely surroundings.
We really enjoyed our visit & will definitely return soon with food this good. The improvement all round is massive!
