A nice spacious restaurant on ilford high road. Top and basement floor seating. Enough seating for 50+ people. We were seated on the bottom floor. It was a bit smokey when we entered. Many of us were coughing due to grilling smell and fumes. After fans were turned on it was cleared. The staff downstairs were very friendly and helpful. They took our order of starters and mains. Mains we requested after we returned from evening prayers. Staff helped us to choice what we wanted and recommendations. We opted for a mix starter will sheesh kebabs, chicken tikka, samosa chaat, papadum and drinks and a large mixed platter for mains with Mango lassi, Lamb Karahi . Started didn’t take too long. They were hot and tasty. The starter kebabs were a bit bland and most people disliked it but all the other items were good and tasty. We went to prayers and returned and waited half an hour for the platter. We were not sure why the large platter had chips even though this was not on the menu and we had grown people with us, rice instead of chips would be better but we didn’t complain but a bit disappointed in what we got for price we paid for platter compared to other restaurants. The food and items on platter was tasty and fresh and good portions. There was enough for everyone on our table. Drinks were nice and cold and the Mango Lassi was very tasty. We did not feel rushed after our main meal and able to relax and enjoy the cake for my recognition. Overall a nice place, friendly staff and good food!! Parking is free on the side roads after 6:30pm.

Never fail to please, cleanliness on point, service with a smile however the food tops of the experience. I had a Tawa, the euphoria one experiences when the Tawa arrives is not something one can easily put in words. You must experience this place…

Food was enjoyable and generous portions. Clean tidy. We had a lamb biryani and a lamb burger meal. Apart from slow cooking g time the food was hot and tasty. Slow time could be due to Ramadan. Free dates and salad to help break a fast despite being Christian. A very nice touch and well recieved. If only all religions were so welcoming. Price was wonderful and definitely value for money. Will be back again. Second visit back. Lamb and chicken burgers. Was really busy but didn't feel rushed. Food was hot and tasty. Pay for what you get. Good value.
