Nice evening meal with the family. Great portion size, not lacking in flavour and a nice spacious eating area. Friendly, attentive staff. Chefs cooking live in an open kitchen, but the eating area is well ventilated and therefore smoke from the kitchen isn’t overwhelming. Seating area outdoors too, for when the weather is nice.

Today we first time,Salamis Platers,£49.99 easily eat 6 pers. Rest we brink home. The ribs and chops very salty on top,should ask if we eat salty or not. Tea is tasty. But for special birthday or dinner,to eat on the plastic and cup no nice. Before every restaurant give free houmous,now try to add on the platers or charge separately.

Delicious and authentic Turkish food. The owner and the staff there are really helpful and welcoming. The menu has plenty of options but could do with more vegetarian options. However what ever is there is absolutely brilliant. I have been there with mates and it might not have the best atmosphere or seating area but the food is good. Highly recommend.

Hi I am a regular customer of Sultan Restaurant on same Road this is first time I have been to this Restaurant. I was there at lunch time they were almost packed we had platter No 2. It was so fresh and delicious we had very good time very good service. I had some food to take away as well. ‏As I was going to recommend this place to someone I was shocked to see many negative reviews. I normally don't leave reviews but as I have tried all of them Sultan , Wazir, Farooz all in ilford area this one is one of the best Turkish place. These negative reviews not doing justice to these people. They are charging almost same as others. I would recommend this place, just try them once give them a chance. Mushi

Quiet late evening on Thursday we visited for a family meal, having visited before we knew what we were getting. The first visit we were quite unanimous that is was one of the better Turkish restaurants in the area. We ordered the Salamis platter 2 which feeds 3-4 people. We knew we wernt going to finish it. They do a nice salad and very nice bread. A very good mixture of meats including lamb chops, chicken wings, lamb doner, chicken doner and many more. Some cold starters The service was excellent. Which is the main reason it was a 4stars instead of 3 as on this occasion they slightly overcooked the meat. Worth a visit.
