We had an early dinner here before our sunset safari. After trying few places where we couldn’t find bookings for dinner, we just walked in here and were greeted quite warmly. Like the modern and quite unique feel of the bar. Loved the cocktails. We ordered leek and potato soup and chickpea lentil curry to go along side onion rings. Food was excellent and so was the service. Clean restooms was a bonus in such a busy town.
We came for lunch, and returned for dinner!
Fantastic, patient and very hard working staff. The food was lovely... a quirky take on a tapas menu which offers a lot of variety and flavour.

We had some great food here. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Could of wanted more from a place to eat on holiday.
The service is a little on the slow side but we are on holiday and weren't in a rush. The food was nice, its like a tapas bar, but it looks like people don't realise this considering the comments. The staff are really pleasant, very young and you do have to ask for some things twice. Overall we had a pleasant evening here
Excellent, local and fresh. King prawn pil pil was absolutely delicious, as was anchovies and roll mop, so many other things on the menu looked amazing, just couldn’t fit anything else in! Fantastic, would definitely recommend 😁
Our favourite place to eat in Ilfracombe. In fact, my husband's favourite meal ever was the chicken & bacon carbonara. Don't expect huge portions as this is what the name suggests, a place serving starters. Ideal if you don't want a large meal. Plenty of choice, enough to warrant several more visits!

After stumbling over this little treasure last year we realised we had found a little hidden gem !!!!!!
All looked very clean and inviting so decided to give it a try we are a family of 5
we chose a option of different dishes so we could try a bit of everything
and we were not dissapointed !!!!
We had bbq chicken wings they were really flavorsome also
mussells in creamy garlic and white wine sauce they were fab
The kids had chilli and nachos and cleared there plates thats not easy with 3 kids !!!
Then for desserts us oldies had the old time desserts
spotted dick and custard and cheesecake (that is the best homemade cheesecake i have ever tasted i did try for the recipe but they werent sharing !!!
Kids had ice cream sundaes these are a big dessert and kids did struggle but they did clear there dinner plate
All i can say is if you are in the area then give this place a try they were really freindly and accomadating and nothing was to much trouble even gave the smaller kids chalk boards to draw on whilst there dinner was being cooked
We will be returning to this brillant place as soon as we can
I couldn't believe the freshness of our food! All the staff were incredibly helpful too! If you are in north Devon and enjoy great food, you have to stop in!
The food and the service were both at an excellent standard, the atmosphere was also excellent. Highly recommend for people on their own or in a small group.
Went here tonight for something light ,wasn't dissapointed:) friendly homely place with good menu choices ,my starter of stuffed peppers with rice an salad filled me up just right:) quality,quantity an cool music, for smaller appetites just right:)puds a good selection ,
